For these modern instruments, one needs symmetrical pedal sets, one for each side. One can buy a several foot-pedals and get the midi configured. But I had a Korg nanokey keyboard ($50) hanging around, so I have glued 6 black blocks of wood on top of a few keys, and now have a 6 pedal midi controller - a left side and a right side. I really only plan to use the sustains, one for each keyboard. The Keyboard integrator converts the note signals into right and left instrument sustain messages. |
